Its interesting that the antagonists are not only human but young, beautiful woman with much in common with their patients. These doctors are performing experimental procedures, which are highly dangerous to their patient's welfare, because of the potential progress, wealth and prestige that would be gained. They don't seem to really care that these women are suffering greatly and that one day the same tables could be turned against the doctors.
Perhaps one day we'll see one of these doctors from the series experience life from the patient's point of view in an upcoming experiment implantation. Will it change her ideology and sensitivity or will it cause her to deepen her cold view on humanity?
